Meet Dr. Sumra Zaidi Elcik

I grew up on Long Island in NY, where I enjoyed spending time with my family and friends, going to the beach, and finding the best pizza and bagels that New York has to offer. I obtained my Bachelors of Science in Psychology from the City College of New York and completed my doctorate in dental surgery at the University at Buffalo.

I had always dreamed about living on the West Coast, so decided to move to Seattle, WA, which is where I fell in love with the mountains. I completed advanced training in oral surgery, implant dentistry, root canal therapy, intravenous sedation, and pediatric dentistry through a General Practice Residency at Swedish Medical Center. During residency, I had the opportunity to treat patients with various medical complexities, special needs, developmental delays, and dental phobias.

My favorite part about dentistry is working with people everyday and helping them feel at ease in the dental setting. My goals in dentistry are to work with like-minded dentists to provide the highest quality of care to my patients.

In my free time, I love to go trail running, mountain biking, skiing, and practice yoga with my husband, Sam, and our two dogs, Abbey and Molly. I am so excited to join the team at Bend Dental Group to provide great dental care and impact a positive change in my patients’ lives!
